Sam Bailey

Sam is our preschool Manager and has been with Broadmayne since 2012. She is also our Safeguarding lead. She is in charge of running of preschool, the administration and everything else in between!

Lisa Pettitt

Lisa is a level 2 trained practitioner and one of our senior team members. Lisa is our wellcomm ambassador supporting children in their communication skills.

Broadmayne Preschool Staff

We are very lucky to have a dedicated team who are passionate about children and their education.

We are a family dedicated setting with the ethos that we are not only here for your children but for you too. Helping you to navigate the wild but wonderful toddler stage! From toileting, behaviour management, speech development right up to school transition. Whatever obstacle we are here to support you all.

Many of us are parents ourselves and we are aware you hand over your world when you hand over your child to us. We can assure you of a high standard of care, empathy and devotion as we take care of your child as if they were our own. We work on a high ratio of children to adults providing exceptional care and learning opportunity's through the day. The senior team bring extensive knowledge and experience to their role whilst our younger members bring the youth, ideas and physical enthusiasm needed to create the perfect team to take care of your children!

Staff Training

Staff are encouraged and are enthusiastic about developing their knowledge in childcare and education and attend training, webinars and seminars on a variety of topics including behaviour management, early sign language, bereavement, parent and co parent separation and communication, the speech and language attention bucket and various special educational needs topics.

All staff members are trained in safeguarding children with our managers receiving higher safeguarding training. All staff undertake extensive 12 hour pediatric First Aid and also attend Prevent and counter terrorism including radicalisation training.

Staff are trained in the WELLCOMM package available to us to help extend and support children's speech and language development. This resource is not widely available to settings so we are lucky to make us use of this wonderful initiative to support children's communication.
